Registered Democrats in Nevada will caucus today, following primaries earlier this month in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Left-leaning Senator Bernie Sanders has experienced an upswell in support following a too-close-to-call result in Iowa and victory in New Hampshire. Polls predict he will ride the wave to another win in Nevada today. Former vice president Joe Biden and Senator Elizabeth Warren are predicted to battle for second place. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the notional Iowa victor, and Senator Amy Klobuchar, who performed unexpectedly well in New Hampshire, have little support in Nevada.

The Nevada caucus decided to switch their online voting method following the technical difficulties that plagued the Iowa caucus. Their new plan uses party iPads and Google forms to tally votes and is not promising same-day results, favouring accuracy over speed. Early voting was offered from February 15 to avoid a rush today.
